Tess left us three weeks ago. She was 12 1/2 and was our fun-loving youngster till the end. Tessaroo, Woowoogirl, Wootie, BooBoo - she had so many nicknames all reflecting that happy girl spirit.She went to Guatemala with us for three months, plus a month of travel time, last year and learned to hate and love traveling. We returned for her last year or so here, and she rested and romped and lolled around on my down comforter until the end. She was our very last pet, since Nicholas also died last summer, at age 18. The house is terribly quiet. But remnants of the spirit of "the girls", and Sammi, Nick and Toby still permeate. They're with us now in strong spirit.
